Improved user experience and shiny new features 🌟

Note: In March, 2021, Roger officially changed its name to Corpay One. Our features and functionality have not changed. To learn more and understand the change, read more.

‍

Introducing new collaborative Workflow options, easier vendor data input and a faster, stronger Roger.

A great software tool is like a great pair of boots.

It needs to be obsessively designed, functional in all the ways you need it, comfortable to spend time in and, of course, look sharp.

But, even great pairs of boots, and software tools, need to be polished. So, that’s exactly what we’ve spent time doing.

The accountants and business owners who use Roger every single day inform our product roadmap. You tell us your pain points. We find ways to reduce or eliminate them altogether. That’s why Roger exists in the first place. We take the manual pain points out of day-to-day financial work and automate them.

Let’s walk through our latest product polish - shiny and ready to function the way you need it to.

New: Easily toggle Workflows

Workflows determine who gets paid when and who is needed to approve those payments. Making sure vendors are properly paid and agreed-upon payment schedules are met is crucial.

Naturally, rules vary depending on the expense or the vendor. When Workflows contain mandatory rules, they are typically used for more time or money sensitive payments and approval processes. If they require no approval, chances are they just don’t need the same level of attention.

Now, you can toggle between “Mandatory Rule” and “Require No Approval” to quickly see the different types of Workflows you’ve built, explore them and edit them.

‍

New: Collaborate on Workflows

To ensure the Workflows you're building for your organization are aligned with your colleague’s or client’s expectations, use our new Share function.

Next time you’re building a Workflow and you want to collaborate with someone, all you need to do is navigate to the Share option and copy/paste the URL. They’ll be able to view the URL in their browser, edit and save it.

Update: Google API enables faster auto-fill

Auto-fill is productivity gold. Why manually enter data when you don’t have to?

Roger is now integrated with the Google Maps API to enable faster vendor entry. All you need to do is type in the name of the vendor and, as long as they have a Google Maps-enabled property listed, the form will populate with their name and address.

‍

Something's off? You can always go in and edit where you need to.

Once your vendor is added, you can see their location on Google Maps and the description they’ve listed for their organization on the search engine. Any edits you make to this vendor now go through an additional approval pop-up, making sure your information is always 100% accurate. You can see which revised version of each vendor’s profile you’re working with.

‍

Tons of detail to explore, with a changelog to keep tabs on each vendor.

‍

These updates are just the highlights. Here are a few more of the touch-ups and improvements we released in January:

  • You can now bulk-delete categories.
  • If you have two co-workers with the same name, Roger now shows the co-worker email, rather than just the name to avoid crossed-wires.
  • Giving users the ability to rename banks and identify default options.

Remember, the No. 1 way our team begins tackling an improvement in Roger is based on feedback. So, don't hold back. Get in touch with our team at support@corpayone.com, or, if you're an Enterprise customer, contact your account manager.
