A multitude of users across local language content in UK, Norway, Denmark, Spain and Latin America can’t be wrong. The podcast platform Podimo has grown explosively since the company was founded in 2019 and today has 160 employees across 20 different countries.

Corpay One has been part of the entire growth journey. And with a growing number of content suppliers, markets and employees, it is an essential tool.

"I have worked with many tools for document scanning in the 10-12 years I have been in this field. Some are insourced in the ERP system, others external. Lightens the dull and heavy AP work

Martin has been pushing his career hard over the past decade, holding finance roles in several companies. But when he switched to Podimo 9 months ago, it was also driven by a more personal need: Today, career ambitions must be balanced with family life.

"It's just cool to be in a scaleup: the pace is high on so many fronts, and you don't know what's going to happen next week because things change all the time. At the same time, the most important thing for me is to be a place that harmonizes with my values, so that I am constantly challenged - at the same time that it is driven by good, human values," he says. Adding that Podimo, both in terms of the actual work, culturally and socially, is the best place he has worked.

Automation is dear to him, as it allows him and his employees to spend time on more exciting tasks. And it is much more exciting to familiarize yourself with the legislation in new markets than to pay invoices.

"Corpay One eases the workload on the entire invoice flow, and because there is a link between the scanning tool and our ERP system, it affects everything we do. We have to log on to the system, click approve, and then we're on to a more exciting task again," he says,

Easy onboarding

Around 50 employees in Denmark and 5-10 in Podimo's local markets also use Corpay to manage their documents.

For Martin, this means they do not have to use unnecessary bandwidth on the bookkeeping. Here he points in particular to payment options in Corpay One. Instead of approving the invoice manually before it is posted and paid in online banking in manual processes, it all happens automatically through the flow in Corpay One - he has to press "approve" twice. Then the attachment is automatically sent for payment on the due date.

"I think that's brilliant - in fact, it's the best thing about Corpay One. Because then there are no employees who have to go to the side and do some semi-automatic work with payment slips, etc., which can be both complicated and time-consuming," he says and continues:

"I am passionate about making things more efficient. So that the employees can spend their time on the right things. And you do just that with Corpay One."
