Note: In March, 2021, Roger officially changed its name to Corpay One. Our features and functionality have not changed. To learn more and understand the change, read more.

Introducing Roger's brand new DirectPay program, the easiest way to pay suppliers - fast.

That's why so many businesses are turning to Roger. We automate almost everything in between receiving a bill from a supplier, to paying it and recording that payment in your accounting system.

Now, Roger is helping businesses and their valued suppliers send and receive payments even faster. Introducing - Direct Pay.

What is Direct Pay?

In short, Direct Pay is instant payment. So, when you decide to pay a vendor, they will be paid almost immediately after. The real benefit for Roger customers is that Direct Pay has no fees.

ACH and Check both have longer delivery times and there is a cost associated. Direct Pay is free for the bill payer and instant.

How does Direct Pay work?

Direct Pay is enabled by virtual credit cards that vendors can redeem as soon as a bill is paid. In order for vendors to be able to process a Direct Pay payment, they need to have a method of processing credit card transactions. Roger's preferred credit card processing service is Square. Click here to sign up for Square.

Roger works with a third-party banking platform to ensure all transactions are secure.

Roger's Workflows also ensure compliance. So, you never have to worry about fraudulent vendor invoices or, something as innocent as the same invoice being paid twice accidentally.

When an expense is added, either by you or by the vendor, Workflows run in the background based on rules you set. With Direct Pay, processing expenses, approving them and paying vendors is even more streamlined because the vendor can get paid right away. They can be paid on the deadline set in their original invoice, or, you decide when to pay them. Both functions can be automated in Workflows.

How can I access Direct Pay?

If you're not a Roger customer already, that's the first step. Sign up for Roger today. We even offer a free trial where you can access any of our features, like Direct Pay.

If you are a Roger customer, in order to pay a vendor using Direct Pay, the vendor needs to opt into the program. Roger and our banking partner have been working to get all vendors in our network into the program.

If a vendor hasn't already opted into the Direct Pay program, it will say "Requested" in their profile, next to that option. Don't worry, if they haven't opted into the program yet, you can still pay them via ACH, Check or International Wire - however you typically pay!

The Roger team is working hand-in-hand with our banking partner to ensure vendors are opting into the program. Standard credit card processing fees still apply for vendors on the receiving end.
